2. National Mall
Stretching over two miles from the Lincoln Memorial to the U.S. Capitol Building, the National Mall is one of the most visited parks in Washington, DC. Museums and monuments line the park, making this location a great place to watch the sun go down while taking in our nation’s history!

3. Yards Park
Located in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, Yards Park is a premier waterfront park located along the Anacostia River. Not only does this park offer a great green space for events and recreation throughout the year, it makes for beautiful sunset views over the waterfront, with a cool bridge to boot!

4. Tidal Basin
Tidal Basin is a partially man-made reservoir between the Potomac River and Washington Channel. Most recognized for the Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring, Tidal Basin also makes for a great spot to watch the sun set over the monuments.

Sitting atop the W Hotel is Washington, DC’s iconic POV rooftop lounge. With “views of the White House normally reserved for those in office,” the POV makes the perfect location for sunset views of the capital city.
