1. Pilot Butte
Pilot Butte is an old cinder cone on Bend’s east side that features panoramic views of the high desert. Take the trail to the summit to catch the sun set over the Cascades!

2. Crux Fermentation Project
Built for non-traditional brewing methods, this one-of-a-kind brewery has even more going for it than just its beer. With panoramic views of the Cascade Range and happy hour specials 30 minutes before and after the sun goes down, Crux Fermentation Project is a staple for Bend sunsets!

3. Sparks Lake
Located about 25 miles west of Bend along the Cascade Lakes Highway, Sparks Lake provides the most spectacular views of South Sister, Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor, and of course, the most beautiful sunsets!

4. Paulina Peak
Located 20 miles south of Bend and standing at 7,984 feet, Paulina Peak is the highest point on the Newberry Volcano. The 5.5 mile hike to the summit is worth every second of its difficult rating because summit sunsets make for the best sunsets!
